Gwen Jorgensen of Milwaukee qualifies for 2012 Olympics

David Hobbs Honda is proud to announce that our sponsored triathlete,
Gwen Jorgensen of Milwaukee, qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in
London this month. Jorgensen, a top track and field athlete while at
UW Madison with a swim background, was recruited by the USA Triathlon
Program and competed in her first triathlon less than two years ago.
This past weekend she finished second in an International Triathlon
Union World Championship Series race, the highest-ever finish for an
American woman, and earned a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic triathlon
team. Jorgensen posted the day's fastest run split and finished the
race in 2 hours, 41 seconds, seven seconds off the winning pace. Her
win guaranteed a country slot for the United States at next year's
London Games.

The USA will take only 2 to 3 athletes to the 2012 Olympic games. And
the local star trained hard for her spot, amping up her training for
the season to 15-25 hours a week combining a routine of swimming,
biking and running.  According to Greg Hobbs, Executive Vice President
of David Hobbs Honda, "its important for our business to support
excellence in our community and Gwen is a shining example of the best
of the best."

In respect to the DHH sponsorship Jorgensen offers, "David Hobbs Honda
is extremely generous and excited about helping the community.  They
gave me a new Honda Insight so I will be able to do more training
because I now have a fuel-efficient car that allows me to get to
workout facilities.  It is a hatchback, allowing me to easily put my
bike in inside.  But It is also environmentally friendly, something
Hobbs Honda and I are both very passionate about."
